Flight booking - slow but got there in the end!
I have recently booked flights with Travelpack using an airline voucher issued during covid lockdown. The process was very slow but glad to say everything is now booked.

I wasn't able to speak to anyone directly - the call handlers just seem to take messages and everything is done over email. It is a worrying experience as you are risking flight costs going up while you wait for email replies but relieved it all went (relatively) smoothly after reading some of these horrific reviews.

I have also had to pay an administration fee of £15 per person to the agent directly which seems a little steep for the service provided.

No Customer Service
I had a poor experience of the service provided by travel pack although Vishal Patel was very efficient at responding to his emails the customer service team never replied to any requests I made.
I was making a complaint about a holiday booked through them that I took in March.
Complaint raised on our return but nearly July and NO response.
Don't think they are concerned about customer service just about customer money.
Don't use them unless you can afford to no be bothered about the service.

I would give no stars for my experience with Travel pack. I DID get my money back (even without a credit card) after 8 months for my flights however i had reported them to ABTA and wondered if this helped ?

Never refunded - got money back from Credit Card company
Like many on here I waited and waited for a refund when a flight was cancelled due to coronavirus.

I was given many promises of refund and eventually had to use the chargeback method with the credit card company.

Up to that point, I had used Travelpack for a few flight tickets but when there was a problem they were found wanting.

I suggest you are very careful with this company and make sure you always pay by credit card so you have that added protection.

I am still for a refund over 2 year
I am still for a refund over 2 year, by government law they should get full refund with out taken no money out if the they charges issue a ccj for different and plus courts cost and 8 % on top.
And can add any extra charges like cost new tickets

However the company it self was a little slow hence why I am struggling to give more stars it was a pain to get through

They won’t refund my cancelled flights
My flights were cancelled in 2020 due to covid restrictions. British Airways told me to contact my travel agent to get a refund. It’s been over 2 years now with me calling and emailing Travelpack and they always tell me my refund will be made soon. They are liars and have no intention of refunding me. DO NOT USE TRAVELPACK.

Stay Clear of Travelpack
Stay Clear of Travelpack. My refund was authorised by the airline in November 2021 but I still haven't received my money. Their constant excuse is COVID, yet they keep advertising holidays to sell!! The director, Mr Vishal Patel, never returns any calls and his staff always come up with excuses for not paying MY money back to me.

If I could give no stars I would. Air India flights cancelled October 2020 due to Covid. Since then I have been promised a refund on many occasions. I was told that my refund would be processed on 14th October 2021 and that the money would be in my account a few days after that. Three months later I’m still waiting. They keep saying that it has been passed to their refund department. Nothing happens

Rubbish do not use
DO not ever use travel pack they treat you like rubbish and never do what they say still chasing my money for my parents. Bipin patel the manager never comes on the phone never email back , I then got designated to a false person to deal with the case he said his name was kalpesh and gave. Direct number of
020 85854213 first two weeks he gave lots of accuses saying he will chase the refund then after that he just wouldn’t reply I advise anyone do not use Travelpack as they just lie to you and promise you things that they never do .

So looks like I will have take next action a file a case ...

Absolute thieves these people ., my refund was authorised by airline back in September 2021 since then these thieves are making lame excuses and to date still haven’t refunded my ticket money back. Now I have been forced to make complaint to relevant trading standards as well as airline agent regulators to report this company.,
I must say, I have never come across any shameless company in my life before. Shame on the management and shame on the director Mr Vishal Ashok Patel.

Follow these steps for flight refund due to Covid cancellations
First step, Before cancelling with Travelpack call the airline company with their locator code(also called PNR number). Tell them very clearly that you are not in a position to travel due to covid/or covid safety and travel restrictions. They may ask for proof/documentation of the same. Ensure the booking/ticket status is changed to either as cancelled or in open reservation status. This step is *very important*.

Second step, call Travelpack and ask them to apply for refund for cancellation due to Covid by filling in respective airlines IATA BSP refund request form via Agency's BSPlink portal. Travelpack as the agents has to initiate the refund process directly with airline. Please don't ask for a refund at this stage. All IATA BSP refund settlement via credit memos (ACMs) take 6-8 weeks time. Obtain the reference number from and keep emailing & calling Travelpack to know the status. Travelpack does not want customers to know IATA processes. Please note, it is *your* money travelpack is holding, not theirs, do not accept credit memos - Your money is your money.

You should make sure Travel pack agency has submitted the IATA BSP refund request via the portal. Please note, not all airlines are members of IATA scheme.

Keep a copy of all email communications, this will be needed for the credit card company just in case the refund does not come through.

DON'T, DON'T, DON'T
DON'T, DON'T, DON'T use this company to book your airline tickets. They don't let you have a boarding pass until just 24 hours prior to your flight. What if you don't have a printer available for the return trip? That means you'll have to go thru the check-in line at the counter because you won't have a boarding pass.

And then .... if you write a review and give them only three stars ... wait for it ... you get emails and phone calls from the marketing staff asking you to change your review. And if you don't respond they keep emailing and keep calling. If they don't like your revisions to your review, they call you again, and again, ask you to change it and give them 5 stars.

This company is the COVID version of a travel company. Yep, they have flashy websites but it's all a facade. You've been warned.....
